Same hunting home last 2 years since bought over as 4 year old from an Irish farm. Bought on correctly hunted Belvoir to close but owner now retired from fieldmastering. Two season with Belvoir (Lincs but finished season ready for more demanding Leics days) proving impeccably mannered, good with hounds at foot, quiet to stand solo on point/in lorry solo and brave across banks/dykes/rails/hunt fences. Does not need a lead but has primarily hunted in mounted field first or last. Hunt secretary references available.
A well produced super young hunter. Has never stopped. Ditches/banks, streams, rails, medium hedges, sheep hurdles, hunt fences etc… has BE90-100 XC schooled really well drops into water/steps/coffins/hedges and funny looking fences! Jumps like a hunter (not a showjumper) honest, clever, bold and effective. Ridden by 60 something 6ft 2” man and 9 stone girl groom out hacking/hunting to date (see photos). Done fun rides/hound rides/cross country jump rides/ hacks out solo, never napps/dirty shies/spins round but he is not a plod. He has a good forward step and keen to jump ie he locks on and takes you in, so too bold for a novice ride.
Sound, easy, straightforward, forgiving, happy and viceless. A really super model of sports ID quality. Good to box (with others/travel solo), shoe, clip (to half face needs calmer for ears), country traffic, catch, ride and lead etc..
